Weddings

The best wedding photography documents the total event. For this reason, I attempt to capture the actions and emotions that continue throughout the special day. After showing the photos to the newly-weds, I know that they will appreciate the posed shots, but they will love the candid shots. My favorite way to work a wedding begins with prenuptual events, such as the rehearsal dinner, bachelor party, and bridal shower, and continues through the ceremony and beyond. I photograph the bride and bridesmaids getting their hair and nails done, the groom and groomsmen as they arrive at the chapel to get dressed, the arrival of early guests, and the toast and first dance at the reception. This type of photography goes much further than simply providing posed pictures. My photos tell the story of the entire event.
